Why choose Varelen oil immersed transformer? Safe and environmental friendly transformers

1. Magnetic Core

The three-limb iron core is made of oblique cut Grain-oriented, seven-step silicon steel lamination insulated on both sides, guaranteeing low losses and low noise.  It is protected on the surface with a flash-proof varnish in order to prevent the sheet from corrosion and to reduce the noise.

2. Transformer winding

The winding as the centerpiece of the transformer must be especially protected  both against high electrical stress due to external over voltages and against mechanical overloads by short circuits. Huarui transformers are systematically designed to meet these requirements. The windings are made of copper or aluminum. Low-voltage windings are made of strip or flat wire, and the high voltage windings are manufactured from round or profile wire. (diamond-dotted paper) bonds the winding into a compact block while drying and increases the short-circuit capacity additionally.

3. Painting and surface treatment

oil Immersed Transformers colour is  RAL 7033. Transformer tanks are painted by the method of dipping or spraying.  and offer anti-corrosion paint C5, also can supply (zinc coating) according to the customer requirements.  tried-and-tested surfact treatment depending on the application environment and transformer installation site.

4. The Tank

The tank, cover and conservator are made of steel plates. Double welding is used where oil tightness is required.  The transformer tank usually has removable radiators connected by shut-off valves. All tanks are subjected to leak tests.

Whether during transport or operation, the tank must remain sealed tight under mechanical stress and regardless of wind or weather. Corrosion protection is especially important. The surface is sandblasted and then multicoated. as request, hot-dip galvanization can provide even better protection.

5. Oil Conservator

The conservator and external cover of the transformer are connected through a suitable pipe with an oil gauge attached to it. In addition, the conveyor and the case are detachable, if needed, as they are assembled by bolts.
