Renewable energy transformer

Main advantages

Step Lap Lamination

Excellent cold rolled grain-oriented silicon steel is used for core. The silicon steel is cut by automatic machine with high accuracy and small burr. Low no-load loss and current are achieved by the technology of pin-stacking and stacking without upper yoke. The structure can reduce the noise effectively.

LV foil winding

The standard low-voltage winding twine by copper foil (or aluminum foil) with interleaved DMD which bear less dielectric stress. The assembled coils are then oven-cured to form uniformly bonded solid cylinders that are anti-moisture.  Such winding has excellent dynamic stability under shortcircuit condition.

Eco+POWER

Resistance
Designed and tested for hard enviromental areas from contaminated zones to low temperatures installations.
dry type dual voltage transformers factory

For each transformer are prepared and issued a test report, in accordance with IEC 60076. except for routine tests, we also offer type tests and specialised tests to meet all customer requirements. We make what matters work for our customers in a safe and reliable way.

Varelen has launched online FAT plan for customers. Our factory can make acceptance testing ( either witnessed and on-line) in order to show all technical and quality requirements have been done before shipment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. What is a dual-split dry-type transformer, and why do customers choose it?

The dual-split dry-type transformer has two electrically independent secondary windings on a common core. Customers choose it to supply multiple loads from one transformer, improve system flexibility, and optimize rectifier or inverter performance without adding extra transformers.

Q2. Can the transformer operate with unbalanced loads?

Yes. Dual-split transformers are designed to tolerate load imbalance. Standard designs allow up to 10–15% unbalance, while industrial or rectifier-grade designs can handle 25–40% unbalanced operation with proper thermal margins.

Q3. Is it suitable for rectifier and inverter applications?

Absolutely. Dual-split dry-type transformers are widely used in rectifier, VFD, UPS, and DC power supply systems. They can be designed with K-factor ratings, reinforced insulation, and harmonic-resistant windings.
